Hi, I’m Anna 👋🏼 I’m a psychotherapist, clinical psychologist and poet, deeply passionate about human connection and the world of relationships.
Being bi-cultural and raised in an international environment, I strongly believe in adapting therapy approaches to an individual’s culture and/or religion. I’m half Polish & half Russian, born in Libya and raised in Saudi Arabia (and have been living in London, UK for the past 7 years). This combination has undoubtedly shaped me as an individual, but also as a therapist. Through my personal and professional experience, I see that our struggles, narratives and beliefs always rest against a cultural, societal or religious backdrop.
Psychotherapy Qualifications & Accreditations:
- Msc Clinical Psychology: Psychotherapy specialisation
- Certificate in Schema Therapy
- Accredited Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversities Therapist (Pink Therapy)
- MBACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy): you can find me in the BACP accredited register of psychotherapists, which you can find on their website.
Aside from the therapy world, I am a poet. Writing has been one of the biggest loves of my life and my favourite way of creative self expression. I’m a published poet and have had the privilege to perform at various events and festivals, using my words to shed light on important mental health topics. I enjoy blending the world of psychotherapy and poetry through a community interest company I co-run with another poet: Mind Over Matter.
